I am a long time MG and Rover owner having started with an 18 month old Cinnabar Red MG Metro in 1984 and followed on with another (in all over White Diamond) bought new in 1989. The second Metro was changed for a 9 month old R3 216Si in Nightfire in 1997, and it has been R3 almost all the way since, with a 15 month old ZR 120 in Le Mans Green in 2004 written off in 2012 and replaced with a 2006 registered ZR 120 in Goodwood Green (one of the last ones built before the administrators were called in). I also acquired a Typhoon ZR 105 in 2016 as an 'extra'.

I've been reading this forum periodically for several ears now, and have found a good many interesting topics to read, and have learned things that I would not have found out elsewhere, but have only just got the urge to register. I have been on a couple of other MG Rover orientated forums for nearly 20 years (although under different user names).

Sadly, only a few months after I part exchanged it for the white MG Metro, the girl who acquired it had a physical disagreement with a wedge Princess, and that was the end of that
