Hi all,

Just to say hello - I'm Tim and I've recently picked up a 2004 25 TDi from my old friend Danny Hopkins from Practical Classics. Its my everyday runabout and so far, its been most excellent.

My main thing is Hillman Imps (hence the name) and so I'm finding some challenges finding metric fixings/sockets etc! (See my other thread about that...).

I'm based in Northants, so if you see me about give a wave...

Welcome to the club we're a friendly helpful bunch in the main. It's probably worthwhile starting a stash of spares as consumables are not as plentiful as just a few years back.

Thanks for that - yes, I’m starting to notice that!
I imagine the rarity factor won’t be helped by this being the TDi. I’ve already discovered that the damaged under tray is unique to the diesel…
