A while ago, I discovered that one of the chrome wheelnuts on my alloy wheels had become distorted to the point that the wheelbrace will no longer sleeve over it to undo it. I think I must have tried to apply pressure with the brace not fully on and 'twisted' the soft finisher. I've been looking for a replacement and Rimmers no longer supply them, which means that the part number is no longer listed either.
I've seen some that 'claim' to fit, but they don't appear have the separate collar that snugs to the taper and ensures the alloy is bolted on firmly. I have the 15" (what I think were called "Speedline") alloys, which look like a 7 spoke crown effect, with 2 dimples on each spoke near the rim. I've found this part number RRD100500 that 'looks' like it might be the correct one, but would anyone be able to confirm that this is the right part number? They are for sale under X-Part and I'm sure that's where Rimmers used to source theirs, but at £12.80 each I would like to ensure I buy the right ones.

Yes I’ve had this problem over the years, so much so I’ve not let a tyre fitter near my wheel nuts for years. I prefer to take the wheels off myself and just take the wheel in my other car when the tyre needs changing.
I’ve had aftermarket wheel nuts previously but they don’t look right.
For my SEi, I ended up getting some second hand ones from a chap on the club Facebook group - worth asking on FB as people will probably have spare one knocking around and there’s a bigger audience than on here.

Thanks Paul, I will probably do that. I did see some for sale that were second hand on Ebay, but they were rusty as heck. I know mine is awkward to remove, but it is still fully chromed!

Hi Jules,
If I am not mistaken you have Regal alloys as per picture below (Speedline is name of manufacturer from Italy):
You are correct, thank you. Those are indeed the ones fitted.

Thank you. I had a nagging feeling that they didn't look quite right (going on memory), as I didn't think they looked long enough (which overall, they're not)
