B48 7AU is the Hopwood Services one. This was a BIG event last year, far bigger than the organisers imagined so the drive from the motorway to Longbridge shouldn't be a problem. Just follow the Rovers, Austins and MGs. :)

PRIDE OF LONGBRIDGE RALLY 2008

Confirmation.

This years Pride of Longbridge Rally will be held on Saturday 12th April 2008, and is organized by the Rover Community Action Trust (RCAT) which supports those affected by the closure of “The Austin” (MG ROVER).

The rally marks the third anniversary of over 6000 workers being made redundant; and celebrates the cars, the work of the factory, and the people behind it.

The format will be similar to last year with a parade of cars starting from Hopwood Services junction 2 on the M42 at 1100hrs (Meet 10.00hrs), and converging on Cofton Park opposite to the main entrance of the factory (Q gate) on Low Hill Lane, Longbridge.

The rally is open to all Austin and Longbridge built vehicles including other marques whose engines and gearboxes were built or designed at Longbridge. There is no entrance fee or need to book in advance. Those of you who do not wish to join the parade may go to Cofton Park direct. The rally starts at 1100hrs at Cofton Park.
