Do we have any volunteers to perform a timing belt change on our 416 GSi charity car? (Honda SOHC automatic + aircon)
Happy to help but guessing youβll be done by Sunday?

Straightforward job aslong as the crankshaft pullley bolt and other bolts come loose or dont snap my advise would be to undo first before the show
A cordless impact gun with a bit of power should do it!

As its an Auto it's not as easy to lock the transmission up like on a manual.
So you might have issues stopping the engine turning over even with an impact tool if the crankshaft pulley is really tight. .

I can provide lunchtime cover on the stand Friday say 1.00 - 2.00. I am sure John Butler will be there too (I have a ticket already). I could do the same and a bit more on the Saturday if you can provide a ticket for that day.

Morning everyone,
The
NEC Restoration Show tickets have officially landed!
And with the show
now under two weeks away, things are starting to get exciting.
As usual, these tickets come with the
very reasonable price of helping out on the stand β chatting to visitors, answering questions, and generally
making us look like we know what weβre doing.
If your name is on the list below, please
confirm youβre happy with your allocated day(s). If something has changed and you need
a different day or ticket count, let me know ASAP so we can shuffle things around.
The list
isnβt set in stone just yet, as swaps may happen depending on who needs to move days.
Also,
if anyone else would like to get involved and help out on the stand, raise your hand! Extra helpers are always welcome and itβs a great way to be part of the weekend.

Please
reply to confirm you're good for your day(s) so we can get everything finalised.
Looking forward to
another great weekend at the NEC β good cars, good company, and probably far too much walking!
