Well I still believe in the figures, as all of the info have been submitted so far has been on that list, with the exception of those abroad or on private plates.
What is rather worrying is that no-one yet seems to appreciate their rarity.

It is just the 1100/500/250 figures that I have doubted. I think that they are just someone's guess at some stage that has turned into a 'fact' over time. I am sure the figures you have are most accurate.
When you have a minute can you, as discussed yesterday, produce some high-level stats based on the VIN numbers of the totals for each model that were UK registered?

i think the survival rate of any mk2 200 and mk1 400 rover is pretty bad
i mean the 3drs looked hmmm still look very sporty so did most ppl write em off?
is there a way for dvla to tell us the ammount of all mk2 200 and mk1 400 still on record either on or off (sorn) road
what im saying is is that you hardly hear of the 220GTi anymore but instead get most ppl owning the 220GSi
i cant remember the last time i saw a rover with the same lil plastic front on as mine and lindzs but instead they all have that horrible crome/silver colored thing like what the GSis have

So how many 220T's do you have so far?
Seems a shame so few are left.

Not sure what you are asking sorry? The numbers quoted above from last year, was a fairly definitive list.

Just reread the thread

for some reason I was thinking the details had come from the DVLA and you were trying to track down the whereabouts of the owners/cars.

I have just updated the 220 GTi Turbo register. According to the register there are now 23 taxed and sorn left.
Only 8 are currently taxed and on the road.

I have recently recieved the statistics DVLA hold on the 220 GTi Turbo and 220 GSi Turbo as of September last year.
This list is in agreement with the register that I hold for all 220 GTi/GSi Turbos. If anyone has any information which I can update the register with of those surviving then please let me know using the form on the website.
I have attached the PDF for peoples interest.

Yes it is. Essentially what that says if you want one don't be too fussy, and keep hold of it as the likelihood of you finding another will be slim.
