The meet goes ahead as planned on Sunday - see you then!

I was a “maybe” but I’m not going to be able to make this, sorry.

Hi all, this meet turned out pretty well, with 10 cars in attendance. I was worried at one point in recent weeks I’d be the only one there!

It was good to test the water as a “northern event” as most Rover events are Midlands and south of the Midlands. I think next time we could open it up to a wider Rover audience and not just our Club.

I was thinking perhaps May for the next meet, as it gets POL out of the way, and before the summer show rush.

Thanks to everyone who came, it was a great few hours (10am to 2pm), and The Motorist is a fantastic venue!

Pleased to hear the event was a success.
Its great you’ve been able to organise an event away from the Midlands.
I’m thinking of a similar event for members in the South West.
There’s a breakfast club at the Haynes Museum in Sparkford.
Had hoped to get it sorted for September or October this year but personal commitments means it will have to wait until next year.

Well done Paul for organising and to all that turned up. I've only heard good things about the event and the venue.

Do they have any meeting rooms? It could be a possible future AGM venue.

Good question about meeting rooms, I’ll see what I can find out. It’s a good sized complex so there is bound to be something suitable there I would think.
