Chris, I do believe that Simon slept in his van parked in an NEC lorry/trailer park a couple of years ago (mainly to stop anybody interfering with his trailer) but it was definitely very much unofficial/under the radar!
It is likely that if the NEC security staff found you sleeping onsite they would probably move you straight on......

I could make Friday the 22nd but I would need a carpark pass, as the train is prohibitively expensive that day.

If still ok will come down Friday and maybe Saturday, what do I need to do please ?

Tim and Chris.............I could post wristbands to you tomorrow, OR you could pick them up when you arrive in the foyer on Friday: I will just need to ask one of the other people on the stand to let me pass on their phone number to you both so that you can call them when you arrive, as I will not be onsite on Friday.

We will have car parking passes on the stand and somebody will be able to let you borrow one to get yourself out of the car park in the evening. (So do not pay for parking when you arrive, there is no requirement to display a ticket in your vehicle)

Please post , do you need anything for the car ? If I have one spare that is .

As John mentioned above, we will explain the car park system when you are on the stand with us. You do NOT need to pay for parking when you arrive

I've not moved Paul; I think I've taken root for the time being. Too many cars to move!
