they look smart. shame you used standard seats though. i would of used coupe ones instead

maybe i'll see it at mod nats next year if i go anyway. more and more people commenting the show is not what it use to be. its reasonably local to me though so we will see what next year brings

Its definitely not what it used to be, every year it's gets more expensive, every year less people attend, every year it has rained for the last 5, every year there are less traders , and there also seems to be less major players.

It's on a downward spiral I think.

For something that was really good a few years ago , it's now losing its appeal and theres a lot of negativity ( justified) coming from it now.

Interestingly enough though, this year was the first year they didn't have a competition regarding the best lit , and this year was the highest turn out its ever been.

I think instead of admitting their mistakes regarding the very dodgy competition over previous years , they've just settled for a display rather then a comp.

I'll see what happens next year also, I'm sure the car will be done by then.

Those seats were just under £500 to reupholster.

bloody hell thats a lot of money. i knew trimming was expensive but didnt realise it cost quite that much

yeah, tell me about it , trouble is, other people wanted more!

How do?

The car has been left at a body shop for the last few months and so progress has been very slow, financies are dictating the pace somewhat , nevertheless work is being done .

I'm having the doors replaced all round , and this is something that's taking a little time to get right.

The doors so far, the old hinges shall be reconditioned, then sold on.

Good lord has it been so long since I posted here last, crikey time flies .

Still work in progress but it's getting there , it's been a long year this one, with a few challenges which have delayed progress, but here we go a couple of pics as an update ...more to come
