Just received notification from flickr that free accounts can only store 50 non public photos. Anymore than 50 photos either have to be public or you have to sign up to their premium account which is £60 a year.
Not sure how many aspiring photographers want to look at pictures of my Rover restoration :laughing2

Personally I use Imgur as do lots of my friends, free and unlimited and works just fine. This uses the BBCode from them:

As part of the website /forum refresh and move to a new web host, forum users may now upload photos directly to the forum rather than using a third party photo host.

There is a limit in the size of photo files that can be uploaded of 2MB, and a maximum number of 4 files per post. These limitations may be reviewed at a later date.

To attach one or more photos:

1. Click on the Attachments tab at the bottom of your post:
photos1.jpg

2. Click on the Add files button:
photos2.jpg

3. In the pop-up box that appears navigate to and select the photo file(s) to be uploaded.

4. With the text cursor at the position you want to insert a photo, click on Place inline:
photos3.jpg

5. You will see a script similar to this inserted in to your post:
photos4.jpg

If you click on Preview you will see how the photo(s) will look in your finished post.

You may continue to use third party hosted photos in your posts (as per the instructions earlier in this thread) if you prefer.
