I'd be interested in a few bits when you get to that stage but theres no rush as I'm in the middle of moving!
A Pillar finishers
If the rear doors have electric windows I'd be interested in the motor and any switches etc as mine o/s rear door window doesn't work and I'm not sure what bits need replacing
Wing mirrors if they are electric.

Car came today not to much to save from the body unfortunately

it has an application form for the Forum in car tho owner being "Robert Edward Tansley". Also has a brand new fuel tank from Rimmer Bros in the boot still in box

Has electronic mirrors mate but I'll check at weekend to make sure they're working manual rear windows tho

Couldn't reply on original post error 401 the car is a 416 gti pre facelift so not for you John good inside , outside white and mouldy been stood since 2008

Just to keep the thread rolling

Went out and braved the cold while battling a major case of man flu with the goal on finding out with the engine would run

So after putting a battery on, bypassing the after market not good alarm and replacing a few blown fuses we had electrics, a cracking engine but no start

So back to basics engine has vacuum, spark and no fuel

Could hear the relay clicking but no pump and the fuel pump fuse had tripped again.... better check the pump....

Think we all know where this ones going, after checking with a power probe the pump had a dead short. Luckily i got an old one from a ZR laying around so knocked up a makeshift tank

....
