And she runs
The engine fired within 2 seconds of cranking and ran very smoothly. It'll be slightly quieter with the exhaust on.
Let's see if this vid link works - https://flic.kr/p/2njWKzm

Re: Getting an early 220 Turbo Coupe back on the road
After a bit of a delay and a major split in the underfloor fuel pipes, the car now has an MOT
Unfortunately the delay also resulted in it not being pained yet but we'll cope with that... Millbrook here we come!
After it's made it back to the Midlands, of course...
It sounds rather nice, with its stainless exhaust and a cone filter. The latter is needed as I haven't got a complete battery tray with the OE airbox mounts on it.

Re: Getting an early 220 Turbo Coupe back on the road
The drive back across the Peak District was very enjoyable, with the engine lovely and strong, but I'm running it in as it's been rebuilt after 13 years OTR. A few gentle laps of Millbrook will help with that process!

Well done all for preserving another R8 model.
Looks great
Enjoy the run out to and at Millbrook tomorrow.
