Loose 45 Front Door Lock Barrel!

#1 Post by Topcat Tomcat » Mon Oct 18, 2021 1:47 pm

Whoops. I thought I would try and identify which cars, three loose keys belonged to. The first two were fine, but when I came to try the third one in the 05 45, the lock barrel came away from the door. At least it's the right key! :slapme

Has anyone else had this happen and is it an easy fix? I think I read during a search, that a rusted steel clip (NLA) may be the culprit.
