Re: Help with a fueling issue please?
Yes its running very well again and back in daily use. The company that sent me the first faulty ECU then the exchange one said the ECU's can fail if the battery is left to go flat but I've had this car for a very long time and never heard that before and don't know if anyone else has.

Re: Help with a fueling issue please?
Just to finish this post off, I didn't break this in the end. I walked away and left it for awhile then as in my other post it was an ECU fault and the first replacement ECU was also faulty. So with a second new ECU it is running well again, mot'd and back on the road so I can enjoy driving it again.

As above, still messing on with my 214 sli and its looking like the fault could be in this box, nothing else left to try. I know years ago you could get a harness that plugged into these but the company I got one off years ago is no longer trading. Can anyone suggest a company that can test and repa...

Re: Help with a fueling issue please?
Fault still there, car fired up straight away on Monday night and ran fine, went to move it tonight and give it a quick run around the block to make sure it was still ok ready for mot tomorrow and once again it won't start. Now breaking, I'll list it on ebay as breaking and in the for sale section, ...
