Also, the metal strip that hold the roof on at the rear will need watching. Its under a rubber strip, which is under the boot lid, so lift u...

I bought a product called RENOVO from Rimmers, to clean the exterior of my hood, and gave it a go on the interior and it worked very well indeed.

Bit pricey at 7 quid but does the job, and is specific to vinyl roofs.

I think that if you where to engineer out the body movement, ie strut braces etc, it would increase the amount of shake and judder, and like you say it may mean something giving elsewhere. Rover did a pretty good job on the body design, with the strengthened sills and the brace bar that loops over t...

Hi Russ, A RAVE CD, is a disc you can buy off e-bay, that is basically what the Rover technicians worked from in the garages, like a Haynes manual, but uber detailed. They cover (on one disc) the Mini, 100, 200, 400, 600, 800 and in detail, the Cabriolrt and Coupe. Think of this, my Cab is 1997, so ...

Hi Mate, You can get what is called a `back light`on e-bay for £95. You will need to search for it as I can`t find it again, and I need to find it, as I need one for my 97 216 cab. the full hoods are like rocking horse s**t to get hold of, so you will need to get one tailored to rover cab specs (I`l...

Hear Hear nick,

The country has gone to the dogs, and we are losing more of our rights daily, and we have less of a united voice to express our dismay.
