Had trouble with stalling every time I come to a stop so I’ve fitted a new idle control valve, however the car now revs very high and the revs don’t drop back. What’s the procedure for resetting it please?
It’s a 1996 1.6 k series cabriolet
Thanks in advance

Re: Timing belt tensioner
Thanks for that
I’ve tried an 8mm Allen key but it seems to be a slack fit, like I say don’t want to round it off but I’ll see if I can get a 9mm before I try again with the 8mm. Maybe I should get a new replacement bolt ready for refit

Outer door handle
How do I remove the outer door handle from a 216 cab? Can see the 2x 10mm bolts but it’s the connecting rods and lock barrel I’m struggling to work out. Seem to need hands the size of a 2 year old!!

Re: SRS light
as above - mechanical pretensioners on this, so no connectors under seats. Im 95% certain it will be the rotary coupler on the steering wheel. cheap and easy to change Although - I have just fixed a car that it was the Airbag ECU had gone faulty. Never seen or heard of that before! Thank you for yo...
