Yeah it is. I read that you can’t have wording on the bottom of your plates any more! How joyless! Isn't that for new cars only though ? Who will know how long the plate has been on the car. I had some metal plates made up for my 1972 MG, no dealer post code, just the reg, identical to the original.

I suspect they are different, I was sold a Cabby one from ebay being told it was from a Coupe. The housings and back plates are swappable though.
