Thanks Johnny. I'll have another look at this at the weekend. The rod is still attached but not as fully as I think it should be but with gentle pushing it didn't seem to want to push any further into the latch in the middle of the door.

Re: Alarm problems after a flat battery
Hi, Thanks for your replies. The problem is sorted now with your help. I connected the battery (negative lead last) and the alarm sounded start away. I shut the bonnet down, attempted to press the fob - the lock botton at least four times but it continued to sound. I then moved on to the unlock butt...

Re: Honda Antilock Braking System (ALB2) fault diagnostics
Hi John, You may know this by now, but fault code 1, pump motor over-run, usually means the pump is seized, and depending whether you're unlucky, the motor may have burnt out too. You may just need it bleeding. The socket underneath the seat is used to plug in an electronic devise when bleeding the ...

Re: ### STOLEN - ROVER 216GSi, WHITE 5 DOOR. REG - H470 KPH
Hi all,
Just to say thank you for looking for H470 KPH but I'm pleased to say it has now safely returned home. Surprisingly there was no damage to it other than it needing a new starter motor.
Thanks again,
Matt

Re: Automatic transmission fluid ?
I've got a few autos and one has now done 147,000 so they are fairly strong but things can wear. The new fluid is Ribena in colour so see what comes out when you drain it. It should just look very dark red when you drain it. Make sure the container you drain the fluid into is clean so you can see if...

Re: Automatic transmission fluid ?
Hi, I always use Unipart Hondamatic Transmission Fluid 96 ATF which is a 2.5 litre bottle. It can be used to top up or refill a Honda auto gearbox which is also powered by a Honda engine. The part number is GUL2122 or the later part number is GUL2922. The gearbox holds about 5 litres but only around...
