45 CVT

Post by Johnlake »

Hi there,

It is a long shot I know but I have a lovely 45 auto Impression. Just had a load of work done in the engine but then out of nowhere the transmission went squiffy.

I want to keep her going but I think I need someone with specialist experience around West Yorkshire. I have tried to get somewhere but I could really do with some help if anyone knew anywhere good? Or any advice other than what I got is to get her scraped which I really done want to do. Any help would be great

Without hesitation I would recommend Retro Sports Cars at Brighouse: https://www.retrosportscars.co.uk/

Both my 220 Turbo and my 25GTi have been there for major services and I have several friends who use them too.

The owner Chris is an ex MG Rover dealership trained technician and he has been in business for well over 10 years.

Hello,

Thank you so much for the advice… honestly, I’m very fond of the old girl!

I will give them a bell and thank you so much, I really appreciate it
