does anybody have air conditioning on there mkII Rover 200 hatchback?
i have never seen this on any of them(apart from the coupes)! also does anyone know if a cd player and front fog lights were options when new?
it would be interesting to know if anyone has an original option list from a dealer...

I think all three were options. I haven't experienced the air-con, wish I had it in mine.

We have the A/C in our 216GSi. The same goes for a donor car I recently scrapped
Works well enough, but as the 1.6 isn't really strong it can struggle uphills a bit when the compressor kicks in...

was the 214/216 GSi a higher spec than the 214/216 SLi then?
i have seen a couple of arm rests in SEi's i think rear spoiler was an option on later 3/5 door SEi's

I have no idea, I just always assumed it was to do with age and specification. i.e earlier ones had grey ones, and later cars had body coloured.

thats a gud question, mine's a 95 model with colour coded bumpers.
i kno the 1st owner of mine was some executive bloke from rover so things like the arm rest and fog lights made me think maybe he had them added in?
