Well we only went and won, didn't we !

It really was a team effort with many people working together to make it a unique event. Thank you to everyone who helped make it so good

Well-deserved considering the preparation and organising that went into this event and the award is a fantastic thankyou to everyone who grabbed the opportunity to be part of it. Like the 30th relaunch event, this was absolutely on the money as a homage to the original record attempt and the coverage we managed to get on the day makes it equally as historic.

I've taken back the Tomcat today and owner was chatting with the singer club at the show and he said the singer club were somewhat miffed they weren't shortlisted this year. They had never heard of the Rover Coupé record nor knew that the car could go so fast ( it's just a Rover! ) so that puts us well on the map as Peter did a great job of filling in the chasms in their knowledge.
