Hi Dotty,
after having stood for 3 years the fuel in the tank will have evaporated.

Five litres of fuel in the tank and either charging the battery [ off the vehicle if possible] or a jump start and when you get her to turn over she will probably fire up! :)

It's not a VW!

It certainly appears to be too good to scrap. A few photos of the interior would be useful as well.

Fingers crossed it goes to a good home.

Update! I did what you said and the car fired up first time 😄
Drove her to garage to see what it will take to get her back on the road.
