Yes it'll be the motor at fault. It is the park sensor in the motor that has gone faulty. So the wiper control unit doesn't know when to switch off so the wipers park at random on the screen. This isn't an MOT failure I believe (as really old cars didn't have self parking wipers!).tonyinbeds wrote:E_T_V - my problem is more as you describe. I assume the wiper motor is more likely to be culpable than the relay/MFU. New Brushes perhaps? Also would this be an MOT failure.
The wipers work ok on Normal and Fast wipe.
