No that actually stopped when I put the ZR hubs on, the wheels sit out slightly more with the ZR hubs than the R8 ones. I will be using 15's on this car, the dealer I brought car from has sorted me out a set of 5 spokes from a 216 GTI (took him this long to find them in his stock) so need to get them this weekend hopefully then I can get the caliper, hub and wheel to Reyland motorsport so they can make me a brake kit that fits inside the GTI wheel

Always a bonus mate and at the minute I've managed to get the coupe bumpers , bonnet , spoiler , side strips , front spats so basically all the coupe kit now just need to get a little welding done and then send it off for a respray , then my focus is on the interior been looking at putting black leather bertone seats in the front I've already got rid of the rears and replaced them with 2 subs and then I'm going to put land rover dickie seats in the rear hopefully

Little update not had much time lately due to work, kids and dark nights :slapme

Anyway got the ZR front frame/steering rack on and a ZR column, the 200 steering column panel spot welds drilled out and removed....

Next is to trim the panel on right hand side to allow the steering column UJ to clear, make a mount from the 200/ZR panel then can get the engine bay painted once the Evo is out of the garage :)

Not got to much done lately (still) but i have spent the last 4 Sundays driving here, there and everywhere getting parts ready when i can so far ive managed to get....

1x set of 216 GTI wheels
1x set of 220 GTI wheels
1x Coupe bonnet
1x set Coupe side trims
3x Front bumpers
1x rear bumper
1x 220 GTI rear spoiler (at last)

So quick question which front bumper would you use? I like Coupe best but the trim not matching puts me off it and i like the 3 door trims better :laughing2

Few more bits found, im not sure if these are getting very hard to find or im not looking in right places but these two parts were giving me a right headache trying to find. Thanks to Baz for sending the sill extensions from Ireland :laughing2 So at last ive got all the body parts i wanted and found out today im off work from xmas eve till news year so hopefully can get cracking on over that time, hoping to have the engine bay painted, engine/gearbox/auxiliaries repainted and fitted and the wiring loom mocked up by new year :slapme

Are you doing a wiring loom from scratch? If so, chapter and verse, for the record, would be much appreciated!
