Well well

MOT is booked for this coming wednesday.

First one since April 2013

Also just had delivered brand new in box front and rear light (drivers side) for £10 from ebay, now looking for the other side.

Unbelievable jeff.

Also painted the wheels, unsure if I like them ( only quick job until proper refurb)

Spat missing in picture, front bumper not fitted, also need black nuts :laughing2

Oh yeah and my Daughter isn't driving! I just moved it forward to see if the springs dropped a little ( maybe they will) :laughing2

Regarding the MGF rear view mirror, how did you wire it in? And how does it switch on and off?

It’s wired into the existing power line for the light that’s near sunroof. The power runs up behind the a pillar trim so it’s tapped into that

The mgf mirror comes on and off when you open / close the door as per original light and also you can switch the lights on (map lights) individually.

Regarding the car

It’s at the mot station as we speak, first since 2013

MOT pass ladies!

Advisory on both wheel bearings even though new, but non genuine

Happy days :laughing2

Considering I stripped this down to a shell and rebuilt it all on my driveway and in my shed and it hasn't been on the road since 2013.

He did comment on the underneath being clean too :cool

When done , told you bearing would pass , just need to keep a eye on them now and replace with a set from , DMGRS had no issues with them ones , still got one to do myself , the good news is the play as not increased.

Happy motoring :clapping

Alignment done today

Image

camber more out one side than the other? Which is odd as everything new

Also when steering right car feels different to left and a little unstable? ( This was before and after alignment btw )

Any thoughts? Everything is tight :laughing2 I want to iron out these little issues

All polybushed too, just doesnt feel right
