If anyone can spare some time tomorrow to help out on the stand (all abilities, knowledge and otherwise accepted - we’re just happy to have you along!) we’d be very grateful.

You’d get a free ticket if you’re a club member, and can join up on the day if you’re not for just £11…that’s far less than the cost of a show ticket.

Please PM GTIJohn if you’re interested :)

Progress has been significant on Muriel :clapping

The new seats and door cards are in

New oil, filters and leads have been fitted

And some growths have been removed from the exterior...

We packed up after 3 busy days

Boy were we tired :laughing2

Muriel was a joy to drive home and we're please to say that she will have a new owner with handover over at POL on Saturday April 15th and we will be able to make a significant charity donation as a result of all our hard work - many thanks to everyone who helped on the stand or came to visit us

Cracking job on Muriel! Even without a repaint, the car looks miles better.

I took advantage of the sunshine yesterday and took Muriel for a drive - the first time she's not been full of her own 'innards'. She drives very well and cruised very well indeed on the motorway back home.

I drove to Burton Dassett Country Park and that's Gaydon in the background, where much of the development of the R8 was carried out

I'm looking forward to having her around for the 3 weeks 'till POL :cool
