It has twisted ports in the photo, but the photo may not be accurate of course. £28 as a close-out item as they call it in the US (end of line).

Thanks for that, interesting that on the body, the casting below the canted port looks as if it had provision to be drilled either way?

The kit from Cyprus has just turned up, and looks to be the correct part, when it is compared to ABS6 on pages 6 & 7 of the Brakes download manual.
This gives me the confidence to strip the cylinder out and replace with the kit.

The second phase will be to replace the ABS Motor, and if necessary, the pump unit as I have both.

I have split the motor & pump, the motor spins well and the pump is also free.

I propose the break the existing motor from the pump, to establish if either/or is still functional, and proceed from there.

To this end I will need to loan the "Special Kit" to bleed the ABS, John if you catch this post you mentioned previously that it was abroad, Italy?

If it's back, how do I arrange to borrow.

The tool that's abroad (in Germany) is for safely releasing the pressure in the high-pressure side of the system. If you've already got the pump out of the car, then you don't need that.

I'll have a look for the other 'Pump run' tool and the instructions.
