Yes good to put some names to faces etc. Glad the weather was fantastic and thanks to those that turned out. And to those that didn't come along, next time please do so! All sorts of cars in all sorts of conditions were there so you'll not feel left out!

I have uploaded some pictures here
http://www.flickr.com/photos/skatiechik ... 8065/show/ and will put the rest up on the website over the next week. I really enjoyed talking to everyone and loved looking at all the cars in attendance. Somehow I have managed to get sunburnt though.
However, it should be noted that the behaviour of some people who parked with the club on the show ground was unacceptable. I know in the large everyone was well behaved so I hate to have to raise this point.
The documentation clearly handed to us on arrival at Hopwood services kindly requested that attendees drive at no more than 5mph in the park. This is typical of any show which we attend. Towards the end of the day there was a car driving in an inappropriate manner in the park. (The person knows who they were as I spoke to them at the time!) This behaviour not only reflects badly on yourselves (it was commented on by people not associated with the club), but it also reflects badly on the people you are parked with (i.e our club).
This is an event members attend and enjoy yearly. One of the implications of this behaviour is that we could be asked not to attend in future through no fault of the members. I have no objections with people enjoying themselves, that is what the day is about, but there is no need to drive/show-off in the manner that I observed, there is a time and a place for speed and a showground is not it! These rules are not only there for the safety of the general public admiring the cars, but also to protect the park grounds.
So sorry I had to raise as I know most are well behaved and I do hope those concerned read this and take my comments on board.

Nice pics Lindz. Real shame I couldn't attend! Were there any other 420 GSi-Ts there?
Nice to hear that there's always someone who has to spoil the day. Not an RT member I hope?

One 420 GSi T. A nightfire red one which was in pretty good condition. He didn't stop long though so I didn't get chance to have a good butchers at it.

Names don't need to be mentioned as it was brought up with the person at the time so the issue is resolved, however its a general reminder to all that we are there as a privilege not a right.

Not really sure to be honest Andy, don't know if they are registered on this forum, RT or elsewhere. Although I have to say I haven't seen pics of the car on here in the gallery. No need to dwell on it as I mentioned it in person at the time. It is just a friendly reminder to all. At a show like Pride of Longbridge where it is free for all where you park then from the outside people just see our shape cars and will lump us all in together regardless if it is members from here or elsewhere.
The 420 was a nightfire red one, very clean. They attended last year as well. I don't seem to have a picture of it this year so must have missed him. I got one of it last year though.
