OK guys hopefully this will work with pics etc so here we go. I finally found a 3 door non sun roof 200 to start a trackday build with and hopefully progress onto some proper racing with since I got my National B race license at start of this year

I've been doing trackdays for many years now using a few cars along the way those being a Evo 9 GT, Evo 7 RS Sprint, MK5 RS2000 and my MK2 MG ZR160 that will be the base for parts for this build which some of you may have seen on other forums. Anyway without going into too much of a history lesson will get straight onto the car I'm sure you will be most interested in. I've been looking around for a while for the right car and am sure I've found it at last. Its a one owner car with 68k on the clock, I got it from a trader who pulled it out of the owners garage since he passed away due to illness so its been sitting indoors since 2013 and thankfully for me its completely rust free so be OK to meet MSA regs. So here us the car in question.....

Looking great!
It would be most amusing to see it running in it's current Caribbean over Tempest colours though

Got a bit of time on the car today at last, got the inside stripped with a bit of help from my boy (he has taken a shine to the R8, says when hes finished his Go Karts will race the Rover) and all the sound deadening etc out was way more than in the ZR.....

Also started having a mark-up of where everything will go etc so can get the floor bars welded in ready for seats, get the wiring loom made, battery mounted etc etc....

Made a start on getting the ZR front suspension/sub frame and brakes on this weekend just need to find a ZR/25 local so can cut the panel out where the steering rack goes through the car in order to run the ZR steering rack.

Just for mo ive put on the ZR 17" straights on so can use the 330x28mm disc's and 6 pots as hoping to get a trackday in with some fellow MG owners at Bedford Autodrome in next few months but i plan to get a set of GTI 5 spokes so will need to get on to AP for some smaller disc's once i get a set and can work out with the max side i will be able to run

Wow, 2-door door cards that haven't all collapsed in the middle! I think that's the first time I've seen that (other than on a coupé). Watching this with interest, should be a fun build.

If Vulgalour doesn't want 'em, I could use them - mine are mushy! And my rear seat side liners have parted from the vinyl facings which have shrunk across the cubby bins.

No use to me, I've got a four door, I just mentioned them because I was so surprised to see good ones.
