Have recently joined having bought a 1992 1.6 Cabriolet. In very good condition and has cleaned up really well. Just the engine bay to go.

Looks like a fine example you have there and Caribbean Blue really suits it!

That’s an early one - surely a candidate for one of the first Cabbys registered, and perhaps one of the oldest cabriolets in the club?

I will have a look on the database. I am fairly sure the K is actually a B. It probably hasn't stamped out very well on the VIN plate.

Definitely a 'k' on the registration document. Will check car in daylight.

If it is a K it should be an automatic?
We have 4 members with 1992 J plate cabriolets. We only have the VIN of three of them and yours is the earliest by about 1,000 but remember the numbering includes all R8 models not just cabriolets. Based on the production levels in 1992 they are probably 1.5 days apart.

Hi
Yes, mine is an automatic. Lovely smooth box.
