Good morning folks.
My name is Kieran, I'm 34 from Blackpool. How are you all doing?
Just wanted to drop a quick hello before i head off to work.
I bought my first car 5 weeks ago.....and you guessed it...it's a rover
it's an 04 plate Rover 25 Streetwise S to be exact. and I absolutely love it. only 70k on the clock too.
Been slowly replacing rusted parts and perished rubber. so far it's had a new centre and rear exhaust (i was literally able to pick it apart with fingers) alt belt, powersteering belt, cambelt kit and water pump. done one of the cv boots as it had completely ruptured.
Still lots to do tho. little lcd screen on dash is buggered. steering is jenky, but drivable. body is prestine but paint needs a look at, lots of stone chips and a bit of the lacker on roof of passengers side is gone only rust is in the engine bay and the odd screw/bolt
Car knowledge isn't great so I'm hoping to learn a bit from all you rover lovers out there.

Nice. I can't wait to attend a meet. Been looking for something like this since I bought it.
Now to carefully remove the broken clock........eek!

Looks like your Streetwise has had the full accessory pack added at some time in its life (headlamp and rear lamp guards, bumper extensions, spoiler extension, sill rails).
If it hasn't got a decent set of floor mats already fitted, Rimmer Brothers had the genuine Streetwise mats in their clearance sale recently and I would think they would still have some in stock.

See now, i was wondering about that. When i was doing my (admittedly limited) research. I couldn't find another one that looked like mine. Figured it was the "s" part of "streetwise s".
Floor mats are there. very good condition. other than passenger side, a plastic ...erm...?hole? is missing so isn't locked to the floor on one corner. I'll upload internal pics later on.
Just looked on rimmer bros. They're rubber mats. Mine are carpeted. Will investigate more
