Filming in London

My Rover was being filmed in London yesterday.
You might recognise the actor from the clip here:

The storyline is about a British manager and his Spanish lover, it's set in the 1990s. I will share some stills and clips when available.
Going down to London was mad on the M1 with Wembley traffic.
Coming back was a dream GTi drive up around midnight. Had the A1M to myself, and headlights on full beam most of the way.
The old girl, nearly 32 years old, did the 250 miles there and back from Notts without any problem.

Very exciting! Can't wait to see it in the final production.
My Metro was filmed in a Welsh documentary back in July last year, it was finally aired the other week and I was far too amused by my car being on TV

Great, do you have a link to your car on film?
Must say in near-freezing conditions, filming is a slow process and it's not as glamorous as it sounds.
I was in a nearby pub most of the evening.

Luckily it was a sunny day for me and the Metro!
I was invited by a Welsh filming company in the local car page to bring the Metro along for filming outside Lancaster Castle for a documentary about a Welsh Minister who was sent to prison there in the 80s for some rather dark crimes. The scene the car was in was of him being picked up from prison in his companions beige metro!

At 3 mins 54 sec the 216 appears to have morphed into a Rover 800 (same colour) !
