Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club

Hi All

I bought a 54 plate MG ZR a couple of years ago. It's only done 50K and I've decided to keep it and see if I can get another 50 out of it.

Runs well but interior has seen better days. The main problem is the headliner. The cloth sagged and I had to remove it so now have nasty exposed foam lining my head. I can't find anyone to repair it even though I think it would be straightforward for some competent (that's not me).

There's a bunch of other stuff needs doing too:

Fix heating
Fit a new stereo
Fix / replace clock
Minor bodywork
Clone key

I am based in Bristol. Anyone know where I might be able to get help.

All this stuff is dead easy to do, the headliner you can easily do yourself just remove it and get some slow drying adhesive of fabric. Then do bit at a time while getting someone to hold the fabric taught while to use a plastic roller to stick it down. Heating issue on a MK2 is most likely the SAAB Valve

What’s the heating issue?
