Cleaned the 220 properly for the first time this year today.

I also modded it. Virtual beer tokens to the first person to spot the mod...and it's not inside!

Yup, clear indicators :)

Yes, I totally sorted the 216GTi and she got her new MOT a couple of weeks ago.

Welding on the arches (yes, plural!), discs, pads, driveshaft, thermostat, full service, more welding after mot failure (sill), rear bushes, brake clean up / adjustment and then an Italian tune up for the emissions :tongue

She's actually still down at the garage (I took her to Sterling Automotive near Eastbourne who did a first class job) and I have arranged to pick her up in a couple of weeks time, so I'll upload some pics then :D

...cost £140 to get through the MOT, which involved rubbing, plating and painting.

Haven't seen it yet mind so can't tell you how good it is :laughing2

thats a good price,i paid £150 for one new arch and paint, about the same amount of rust as on yours, but mine now needs a new clutch :sad so it is off the road at the moment,i plan to change it in the next few weeks so i'll get some pics of that uploaded. Looking forward to your pics.

Interesting to read about the rear arches. I'm also having the same trouble on my SEi!

£150 sounds reasonable. I think I will get this done in the summer...then get it waxoyled to prevent reoccurance.

Mine isn't quite as bad as that in the pic though, but it's getting there! It's certainly got worse over the winter though with the wet salty roads.

Such clean whiteness on a 3 door 200. If only mine hadn't blown up :laughing2

Clear repeaters look good.
