Hi all, I recently had my beloved 214GSi (K plate) valeted professionally. The headlining unfortunately has "sagged" badly! I advised the valeters not to "wet vac" as I know this can cause problems. They tell me it was not "wet vac'd"! Now it's sagging badly can anyone advise on how to rectify this problem. The valeters have no idea except to iron it back with an iron! Cheers & HAPPY NEW YEAR. Dave

David,

The only way is to recover it once it has sagged.

Woolies Autotrim sell the fabric and appropriate spray glue.

Thanks for that. I have emailed them and am awaiting a reply. I understand it's a pain in the rear end to do! Cheers, Dave

Much worse with a 400 than a hatch due to getting the headlining out of the car!

Amen to that!

The Rover teccies guide, says it takes two, sliding it out through the rear hatch. It makes it sound like a ten minute job.
I'm not so sure...... :S

The saloon must be folded gently, I guess - it's got to be the same size.
Sounds like a job in nice warm & dry workshop..!
