Random drive to Rivington

Post by agw_01 »

It's been a while since I've gone out for the sole purpose of taking pictures but I had a bit of time to kill earlier today. Did a bit of Googling for a suitable location and ended up having a drive over to Rivington.

Despite having my camera for a couple of years, I've never really learnt to use it properly. Today was all about experimenting with the camera's settings but that didn't stop me from loading the images into Adobe Lightroom for a few tweaks :)

I mainly adjusted the while balance and saturation. Lightroom also lets you view the images before and after editing so you can see how your changes have affected the picture. Great piece of software.

The car is a bit rough around the edges but still looks smart IMO. She still goes very well and sounds fantastic thanks to the Mongoose rocket launcher sticking out the back.

I went out again yesterday evening where a mate drove my car allowing me to get a few pictures of it doing what it does best.

I particularly like this one.

To say that this was a car that was going to get scrapped after the previous owner removed the forged 2.1 engine, it's been one hell of a car!
