About The Club
| The Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club is open to all enthusiasts. Our primary aim as a club is to promote and support the use and enjoyment of these cars, and hopefully allow some of them to be preserved for future generations. |

| The club came about through an initial idea of Lindsey Smith. Lindsey was a strong enthusiast for the models having owned a Rover 214 SLi as an everyday car for several years. The website was initially formed as a resource for all things Rover 200 & 400 with a community forum attached where enthusiasts could see technical advice. Due to the demand the official owners club was launched back in July 2007 with the club holding its first AGM at the British Motor Museum in August 2007. To ensure that all owners of the closely-related 200s, 400s, 25s, 45s and Streetwise cars are catered for the club expanded to cover these models in 2015. Subsequent to this a wide range of cars have been featured on club displays, such as at the NEC. |
| One of the main benefits members have enjoyed from the start is the clubs quarterly magazine “The Viking”. The magazine contains news and features written by members, which includes the latest club news, technical articles, event reviews, and other items of motoring interest. The magazine also aims to appeal to different lifestyles, and hence, two tiers of membership are available. One where the magazine is distributed electronically to members, and the more traditional method of a printed publication. |
