Hi all
Looking for advice on changing the fuel filter on my 218 diesel (1991), thought it was just a screw off and on but seems not, any help would be much appreciated

As long as we're talking about the low pressure side of the DPA just wrap a piece of rag around the union while you crack it off, wear a pair of googles if you're worried about your eyes.

If this is a job that you haven't tackled before [ as it sounds like] avail yourself of the Rover workshop manual or possibly the appropriate engine manual. That will have a step by step guide for you.
