I put an armrest in my 220GSi. And my 216GTi :laughing2

They're not new - you have to source them from scrapped coupe's or tourer models.

I've got four kicking about in the garage, but three are cloth topped and the other is leather but it's from a beige interior car.

The armrest is not new but the leather is. I've bought it on ebay, i think it came from a deceased Rover :sad

Not as much as you think, 800's are good solid motors and mostly tend to get driven around more sedatly.
Put it though a couple of mots and never need anything major.

I had a 97 vitesse with around 95k on the clock when i bought it and it rattles less than my 60k 214! :laughing2

Sorry back on topic your motors coming together nicely, you cant beat a tidy & clean r8
Glad to be back in a rover! :)

I'm on vacations so there is plenty of time to make my SEi look as new and make some modifications too.

Starting with the 52mm throttle body and KN air filter:

Then I had to glue new fabric to the roof.

The result:

And brand new floor mats:

Finally, detailling:

Tomorrow, side spats and new license plates :D
