19th Knebworth Annual Classic Motor Show

Post by Smithy »

I have had a letter from a member who is making the booking for three cars for the Knebworth Classic Motor Show. They would like a club stand would there be anyone else interested in attending this event?

The event is august bank holiday weekend, 30th. Knebworth is near Stevenage.

Lillian is in the process of booking a stand. It would be good to see some other members more local attend too.

I think its £7.50 for the show

Club Displays
Clubs may book sites at any of our Classic Events for a minimum of 3 vehicles (no maximum - subject to space available) at a cost of £2.50 per vehicle per event. Passes that you order allow entry to the event for up to two adults & two children only (4-14), all other occupants pay the normal admission price on the day. Passes are only valid when attached to a qualifying vehicle on arrival at the venue - admission at the normal rate will be charged if this is not adhered to. Passes are not transferable. ALL pre-booked vehicles will qualify for a commemorative plaque. Advertising cars for sale on club sites is NOT allowed (see below). Clubs may sell club regalia or memorabilia but the sale of Autojumble etc is NOT allowed (see below).

That's fair enough we would like to go on the Sunday 30th August if you get a stand going.

Sad but not totally unexpected news on this show.

They will not let us exhibit our cars as they are regarded as too new (cut off date is '84)

Some members will still be attending the show as visitors however sadly there will be no club stand.
