.....Because here is how it looks now.

Post by tomcat216 »

I decided to stop buggering about and dithering with what to do with the Coupe, so today. I made a start. Now bear in mind that everything is trial fitted for now, to get an idea of how things are going to look.

Er.....no, not the look I'm after.

Same as above but with the grille.

New rear plinth. Got a slight problem with it though, its pretty easy to spot but alot more difficult to get around.

What colour is the front sports bumper? Carribean Blue?

Want to do a swap for a british racing green one? ;)

Is the plan to get a full re-spray after this or just the panels?

It is Caribbean Blue but its far from perfect. I'm just getting the bits that are the wrong colour done to match and the bonnet resprayed. It doesn't look anywhere near as bad as I'd imagined.

The main problem I can see with that is that you'll require a smaller number plate that will not be road legal unless your car is a Jap import. Now I am not sure how hot the police are on these things but I know they are pretty clued up when it comes to other number plate violations such as small plates on motorbikes and illegal fonts.

4 10mm bolts, 2 each side, inside the fog lamp boles, slightly above and toward the centre.
