The trouble is the TF is an aging model now.
Rover 220 GTi Turbo.

As they say in the article, the TF is really a stopgap - pending the arrival of a new model in a few years time.

Much like the R V8 heralded the forthcoming MGF. Not ideal, but better than nothing.

might be outdated but i work at longbridge and have driven one of the new ones and have got to say it is a very good car and goes like stonk :clapping

That's good to hear. How many people work at Longbridge now (and don't say "half of them"!)?
