I think it depends whether the engine in your R8 is honda or K-series, as I think they had different gearboxes - dont quote me on this though!

Will get the haynes book of lies out later and see what types of gearbox were fitted.

I imagine it would fit though.........

I agree! The R8 does handle very well, even the base models - could this be due to its honda-engineering, or the fact that Rover simply played an absolute blinder and produced a brilliant car? Austin-Rover didnt always get it right with alot of their cars but apart from the K-series HG woes, there r...

I`d say its the engine mounts for sure. My 214i does it, the top mount by the PAS reservoir has disintegrated on the one side (caused by the leaking reservoir no doubt)
Engine doesnt move much though..... Still, it`ll get done when the clutch goes - next week at this rate :)
