Pretty sure that Honda used a short shaft and bearing/joint bolted to the back of the block to give same-length driveshafts, so you could use a LH one.

This was to reduce torque steer, even though the D-series doesn't really generate much Rover didn't do the same on the other engines...

Get the head checked for flatness, and skimmed if necessary, liner heights checked, so you can use the appropriate gasket...

The Honda PGMFI is a clever system. When starting from cold, it will run richer and increase the idle, as pulling the old choke used to do. It shouldn't misfire though... I would have a look at 'ignitor' inside the distributor. It might be worth fitting a new one and see if the problem goes away. In...
