Is that not there to assist the cooling system in removing air in the system? Fair play on removing it, but something to be aware of?

Also heard of folks drilling a small (a few mm's) in upper area of the thermostat disk as well as removing the valve - to achieve the same fix...

I did the trims on my old Sierra 1600L like this: Good scrub with plastic scourer side of washing up sponge, with washing up liquid and hot water. This removes any polish products that may be on there. Once dry, mask off the trims - obv. you could remove them, but I couldn't be bothered. Give them a...

:welcome I had one similar to that, mine was a J (I think) and 3-dr but I rated it - one of the quickest and smoothest cars I'd owned for a 1400 16v, took me'n'her all around the UK with pretty much no hassels at all.
