Well the pencil eraser trick worked for me
Removed most of the white marks left from not being careful enough with the polish. Needs further treatment to sharpen it up a little bit more but pleased with the result

According to an internet search, you can do it using a Pencil Eraser. There's a YouTube video showing it seems to work, some positive comments agreeing on its efficacy but one-or-two saying it didn't work for them. Will have a look through all the products suggested and perhaps trial one or two.
I'll even try doing half the trim so I can photo before and after treatment .

Anybody got any tips on how to clean or blacken the rubber strips on my bumpers. I think they are discoloured with polish. Tried using Auto Glyn Vinyl and Rubber care spray but it doesn't really get rid of the white marks.
Anyone found a successful solution?
