Re: Alloy Wheelnuts
Hi Jules, If I am not mistaken you have Regal alloys as per picture below (Speedline is name of manufacturer from Italy): You are correct, thank you. Those are indeed the ones fitted. In that case you need conical/tapered seating alloy nut part number RRD10004, as per picture below where you can se...

Re: Alloy Wheelnuts
For my SEi, I ended up getting some second hand ones from a chap on the club Facebook group - worth asking on FB as people will probably have spare one knocking around and there’s a bigger audience than on here. Thanks Paul, I will probably do that. I did see some for sale that were second hand on ...

Alloy Wheelnuts
A while ago, I discovered that one of the chrome wheelnuts on my alloy wheels had become distorted to the point that the wheelbrace will no longer sleeve over it to undo it. I think I must have tried to apply pressure with the brace not fully on and 'twisted' the soft finisher. I've been looking for...

Re: Dealer Plates
Yep, Richard is correct. Probably not ex management cars, but cars that Rover had leased direct to large companies and Axial took them in at the end of the lease and disposed of them on behalf of Rover. In that case, I assume there is no way of tracking down if the car was originally at a dealershi...

Re: Dealer Plates
I have an old Rover dealer directory, so if you can give me the address, I may be able to find it. Okay, thanks. This is what is stamped in the box marked "Selling Dealers Stamp" in the service book:- Axial Ltd Appletree Road Chipping Warden Nr Banbury Oxon OX17 1LL Here's hoping it means...

Dealer Plates
Further to the Facebook article on the clubs Facebook page, about obtaining copies of the original dealer plates. I was wondering. Is there any way of finding out which dealer first supplied a car? I have the dealer stamp in the original (I assume) manual, but it looks like it was supplied from a pr...

Re: 218 diesel power steering belt
Probably too late judging by the date of your original post, but this is from the Dealer Workshop Repair manual on how to adjust the power steering pump pulley. Hope it's helpful or at least informative for the future.

Re: 416 (R8) Headliner Removal
Well, it's there in black and white in the repair manual. The V-shape bracing obviously gives rise to a wider aperture right at the top if I'm remembering which way round the sloping V bracing goes. I assume they believe this is wide enough. I suppose they may be neglecting to mention a rubbing and...

Re: 416 (R8) Headliner Removal
The Rover repair manual tells you to take the back seat out (just the back rest) and the headlining shell will come out through the boot. Curious. I have an R8 saloon and have had reason to remove the rear seat completely. I'm wondering how the headlining shell gets past the "X" shaped br...
