About 18 months ago in 2016, I looked into this after some suspected gear-selection problems on our 214 R65 gearbox. The guy at a local gearbox repair firm, recommended using Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) in the box rather than 75W-80 GL4. I had tried EP80W-90 but without any real improvement ...

If it's like a mooing sound, like don't worry. Sounds like its from the rear bumper area? Sometimes It's a long, loud moo, other times a little honk. Temperature seems to affect this too. If it is, It's the tank breather valve. It's perfectly OK, mine has mooed since I owned it, so presumably it's ...

hi so i keep hearing this droning noice never happens when the engine is running and it happens randomly so no way of recording the sound the ignition dont have to be on i mean damn it makes the noise when the cars all locked up, i dont appear to be losing fuel but not sure if for some reason the fu...

sorry only just got on its a 1992 214 so 1.4 kseries single point injection dizzy cap type i believe its the original gearbox, if that helps and it gearbox oil needed. i do want to get another gearbox ( even better if i could find a 6speed that fits ;) ) but for now i need to keep this gearbox sweet
