How easy is it to remove the glass and bond to the new frame?

You may be able to clean up the corrosion enough to get a flat surface for the new seal (and silicone sealant) to get decent enough purchase on - it depends how confident you are with a wire wheel, emery paper and BiltHamber products!

Unfortunately, you’ll most likely find it’s the panel that’s corroded away underneath the seal. Fitting a new seal probably will not cure it, unless the corrosion is very superficial and can be cleaned up effectively. New panels have been NLA for some time unfortunately, so it’s a case of finding a ...

SHB10001EVA is the direct supersession from GBH251, so looks like that part number is the one to buy. 859 doesn’t supersede to anything.
