Re: Electrical fault finding.
I think there's an option for the R8 to 1995 on the Rave disc - choose the coupe/cabriolet/tourer option and then the first option under "reference manuals" - this brings up manual AKM6987. This is completely relevant to the R8 and all the early engines. Can't remember the other one - I think it's AKM6535 and I believe 6987 supersedes it.JOHNDQ wrote:Nice one I recently ordered the Rave disc from rimmers said covers 200, 400 etc which has the R8 on cover but only covers models from 1995 on
The fault finding manual has been around for a while online - I thought the above link might be subtly different as the chap looks to have re-scanned his own paper copy and made a note about a problem with one of the diagrams. However when I compare it to one I've already got, they're the same I think.
There should be no shame in just sharing these publically online, as I'm pretty sure no rules are being broken with Rover not here anymore.

Re: Electrical fault finding.
It would be very useful to have a catalogue listing of all manuals relevant to our cars, and the variants covered by each. Did such a thing exist as a Rover publication?

Strangely, I think some of the manuals have a list of publications somewhere near the front. And there are plenty of them. Tracking them all down would be a task and a half.crepello wrote:It would be very useful to have a catalogue listing of all manuals relevant to our cars, and the variants covered by each.
